Put Anything On Ice

Practical Life, Sensorial and Science all wrapped into one!!

Before we dove in we talk about water and how it can be liquid, solid, and vapor. How and why each of these states happens to the water. Then I did a big reveal about how there is something other than the heat that will melt the water faster - SALT!

[The reason all New England cars rust. I didn't say that but I wanted too. They will find out one day, sigh.]

Toy Cars, Plastic Dinos or Animals, Found Objects From Nature - put anything in ice and invite your kids to melt it out!

They will love it, I promise!

    • Hint: I like to use empty leafy greens containers from salads - reuse, recycle, repurpose! You can always recycle it after.
